It is very necessary to carry out appropriate maintenance on valves during use, and this maintenance is part of daily work that needs to be done every day. Only by ensuring proper protection and maintenance can the service life of the valve be extended and allow it to function fully. So, how should valves be maintained?

1. Check whether the valve switch indicator and valve nameplate are clear. If the markings are damaged or have fallen off, they should be promptly replaced.

2. Inspect whether the bolts at the flange, various brackets, and connections are well connected. If there is any loosening, retighten them immediately.

3. Examine the condition of the valve's key parts, including the packing gland, oil filling hole, oil filling hole nut, plug, expansion joint, and the connection between the valve cover and the valve body. Look for any abnormalities in these components to ensure all parts are functioning properly.

4. In addition to the above daily inspection tasks, a major overhaul should be carried out once a year. Specifically inspect all aspects of the valve's condition, promptly address issues, and avoid small problems leading to significant losses.

In conclusion, the protection and maintenance of electric valves are very important, and consistent effort will yield good results. Improper operation or lack of attention to maintenance can inevitably lead to valve problems. If a valve issue arises, professional maintenance personnel should be contacted immediately.
